Pressed for time but still want something nutritious and delicious? This Tuna Sushi Salad Bowl is the ultimate grab-and-go meal using simple supermarket finds. It’s quick to make, satisfying, and packed with fresh flavour — perfect for busy days when you want to stay on track.

Ingredients

  • 1 microwave jasmine rice cup
  • 175g Asian salad kit
  • 95g tin tuna in springwater
  • 1/4 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 avocado, sliced
  • 3 tsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tbsp pickled ginger
  • Sesame seeds & nori (optional, but recommended!)

💡 Swap tip: Not a fan of tuna? Try it with salmon or shredded chicken instead.



Method

  1. 1. In a small bowl, mix the tuna with 2 tsp of mayo and set aside.
  2. 2. Microwave the jasmine rice cup according to instructions.
  3. 3. Add half the salad mix to your serving bowl, then top with the rice and tuna mixture.
  4. 4. Add cucumber, avocado, pickled ginger, sesame seeds, and nori.
  5. 5. Drizzle with tamari and the remaining mayo.

That's it — fresh, flavourful, and ready in minutes!
