Craving a high-protein, plant-based burger that’s quick to make and incredibly satisfying? Look no further! Our High-Protein McChik’n Burger is loaded with flavour and packed with protein, making it the perfect meal when you want to indulge without compromising your nutrition!
Ingredients:
- 1 x potato bun (from Coles)
- 50g Deliciou plant-based chicken
- 30g shredded iceberg lettuce
- 30g tomato, sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp vegan aioli (Heinz)
Method:
Prepare the Chick’n Patty: Start by emptying the Deliciou plant-based chicken into a shallow dish or bowl. Follow the packet instructions to create the minced chick’n, making sure it’s ready for cooking.
Cook the Patty: Spray the chick’n mixture with olive oil and air fry it at 200°C for 15 minutes or until golden and crispy. This high-protein chick’n patty will provide a satisfying crunch and a savoury taste.
Toast the Buns: While the chick’n patty is cooking, toast the potato buns until they’re golden brown. This will give them a perfect, crispy texture to complement the patty.
Assemble the Burger: Once the patty is cooked, place it on the base bun. Layer on the shredded lettuce and tomato slices for a fresh, crisp bite. Spread the vegan aioli generously on the top bun, then close the burger.
Serve and Enjoy: Your High-Protein McChik’n Burger is ready to devour! For an even more filling meal, pair it with a side of crispy baked fries or a healthy salad.
