Big Mac Tacos

Craving the flavours of a Big Mac but want something a little different? These Big Mac Tacos are a fun and delicious way to enjoy the iconic taste in a fresh new way! Packed with protein, full of flavour and quick to make, this recipe is perfect for a satisfying meal that doesn’t compromise on taste.

 

Ingredients

70g extra lean beef mince (raw)
20g 50% less fat cheese, shredded (Bega)
2 street tacos (Mission brand)
2ml olive oil
25g special burger sauce
40g shredded iceberg lettuce
20g brown onion, finely diced
10g minced garlic
30g pickles, diced finely
3g paprika
3g cumin
Salt & pepper to taste*

 

Instructions

Prep the Ingredients: Finely dice the onion and chop the pickles. Shred the lettuce.

Cook the Beef: Heat a large pan over medium heat. Add olive oil, garlic, and onion. Sauté until the onion is translucent and slightly browned.

Season & Brown the Mince: Add the lean beef mince to the pan, breaking it up as it cooks. Season with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir regularly until fully cooked.

Warm the Tortillas: Heat the street tacos as per the packet instructions.

Assemble the Tacos: Start with a thin layer of special burger sauce on each tortilla. Add shredded lettuce, followed by the onion and beef mixture. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, then drizzle with more burger sauce and finish with finely diced pickles.

Serve & Enjoy! These tacos are best enjoyed fresh, bite into that perfect Big Mac flavour with a taco twist!
