Fuel Your Progress: Pesto Cheesy Eggs for a Protein-Packed Post-Workout Snack

Combining the goodness of eggs, cottage cheese, and aromatic basil pesto, this recipe not only satisfies your taste buds but also provides the necessary nutrients or muscle recovery and growth!

Whether you're completing our Transform program or simply seeking a protein-packed snack, this recipe is the perfect addition to your post-workout routine.


What you’ll need:

  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ Cup Cottage Cheese
  • 2 tsp Basil Pesto
  • Spray Olive Oil

Utensils:

  • Small Mixing Bowl
  • Frypan 

Step 1:

In a small mixing bowl, crack 2 eggs and add ¼ cup cottage cheese.


Step 2:

Whisk the eggs and cottage cheese together until well combined, creating a creamy mixture packed with protein.

Step 3:


Lightly spray a small fry pan with olive oil and heat it over medium heat.

 

Step 4:

Pour the scrambled egg mixture into the fry pan and let it cook until it begins to set.


Step 5:

Using a teaspoon, dollop a small amount of basil pesto on the top of the egg mixture, infusing it with a burst of aromatic herbs.

 


Step 6:

Gently stir the eggs, ensuring the pesto is evenly distributed, and continue cooking for another minute or until the eggs reach your desired level of doneness.

 


Step 7:

Once cooked to perfection, remove the Pesto Cheesy Eggs from the fry pan.


Step 8:

Serve the eggs immediately as a protein-packed post-workout snack!
