You’ve seen the hardwork. You’ve seen the sweat. You’ve seen the (almost) tears. You’ve seen the transformation. Our girl Thessy lost 23KGs after 5 months of using the FitazFK App and 2 months of using our FitazFK in 8 Week Challenge Guide.
By following 18 minute workouts on the daily, incorporating long slow-distance training and running (Thessy can now run 3KM non-stop. Here’s her plan for that too), Thessy had an easy to follow and perfectly balanced diet to help her lose that baby weight that “just stuck.”
Before Thessy fell pregnant to Zani via IVF, Thessy weighed 53KG. After giving birth to Zani in August last year, Thessy was at her heaviest - 75KG. But after months of hard work and days just before her big wedding day, Thessy hit her goal weight, 53KG, feeling stronger, fitter and more confident than ever.
While Thessy mixed up her diet (slightly) to be in line with FitazFK in 8 Week’s Guide, a typical day on her plate during phase 2 looked like this:
Breakfast: Chia pudding or 2 Weetbix with berries on almond milk
Morning Tea: Yoghurt & a handful of berries
Lunch: Turkey breast lettuce tacos
Post-training: Nuts & a piece of fruit
Dinner: a source of protein (beef, chicken, fish or pork) and a greek salad. On some days, she also whips up her infamous pizza. Get the recipe here!
For snacks, Thessy loves enjoying pieces of fruit, rice crackers and for dessert, she indulges in a Chocolate Paddle Pop without fail.
Having always been a “slimmer frame” naturally, Thessy confessed she was surprised when she put on so much weight throughout and after her pregnancy.
“Losing a lot of weight is never something I’ve had to do in my life. I never thought I would be in the 50s again… the weight I put on during pregnancy literally STUCK to me,” Thessy said.
In saying that, nothing compares to growing her miracle mini-me.
For the first 5 months, Thessy trained 5-6 days a week using the FitazFK app religiously. Most days, she would complete two sessions back to back.
