Goal Setting To Achieve Your Dream Bod
It's a new year & now's never been a better time to chase the bod you've always dreamt of having! We all know it's not as simple as wishing for a ripped body from the gods & with the click of a finger you have so. It's a lot more complicated than that!
There's a lot of thinking, planning, drive & discipline that goes into setting yourself up to achieve your health & fitness goals. 
This is our fool proof, step by step process for goal setting to achieve that dream bod by putting an actionable plan in place!
1. DECIDE WHAT IT IS YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE 
The first step to goal setting is deciding exactly what it is you want to achieve. You can't set goals & put a plan in place if you don't have a clear cut vision of where you want to be. This can often be hard to decide as there are so many things we do want to achieve, which can result in the feeling of being overwhelmed & not knowing where to start. The best thing to do is write down every last thing you want to achieve then prioritise which are more important. 
2. WRITE YOURSELF SOME SMART GOALS
When writing goals you need to ensure they have some structure to them. Without structure your goal is simply a want with no deadline to reach it. Your goals need to be SMART! 
Specific: State exactly what it is you want to achieve
Measurable: Break your goal up in to steps to make it measurable
Achievable: Do you have the mindset & tools to achieve this goal?
Relevant: Is this goal relevant to you & where you see yourself in the future?
Time Bound: Set yourself a date for when you want to achieve said goal by
3. CREATE AN ACTIONABLE PLAN 
Setting yourself goals is one step in the right direction, but you can't call it a day there. You need to create an actionable plan to follow to ensure you're working in the right direction & on track to achieving your goals. It's as simple as writing out individual steps that need to be taken in order to achieve your goal, crossing them off one by one to track your progress. 
4.  FIND YOUR MOTIVATION & DRIVE 
Your goals have got to motivate you!! If there's no internal drive or desire to achieve your goal it's never going to be prioritised & the work won't be put in to get there. If your goals don't motivate you, they're possibly not as important as you think they are. You may need to take another look at them, setting yourself some new ones that are more aligned with what you're passionate about.
5. STICK WITH IT
Don't stray away from your goals. It's easy to make a million excuses "I just don't have the time" or "I'm not feeling up to it right now" but nothing worth having ever came easy. In those moments where you can't be bothered is when you need to push through & keep going. Stick with it!! Keep reminding yourself how badly you want to achieve your goals & that it will all be worth it in the end.
